About Groups

Using Groups, teachers can make annotations such as notes, instructions or links to other web resources in a shared eBook.

Groups can only be set up by teachers in schools that have adopted the NelsonNet title. It is not available for individual users.

Creating a Group

Teachers can set up a new Group by making a Group Code. Students use this to join the Group and access the shared annotations.

To create a Group, you'll need to have accessed the eBook via a teacher access code.

You can create multiple Groups for your eBooks.

Joining a Group

Students can join a Group set up by their teacher. To join a Group, sign into your NelsonNet account and open the relevant eBook. Select the Groups icon in the menu. Find the cover of the book and select the Groups button underneath. You'll be prompted to enter the Group Code provided by your teacher.
